Janis Krempa, BCBA, LBA

Co-founder of the Autism Partnership Initiative

Janis Krempa is a board certified behavior analyst with a background in education and psychology who has been working with students with autism and their families since 1994 and is the founder of BuildingStepsForward. She created and led social skills groups for children and young adults on the autism spectrum, focusing on comprehensive social and communication skills, promoting greater independence and active participation at home, in school, and in the community. Janis works very closely with her clients to listen to concerns, find individual strengths, and build skills to foster independence and build skills for success, as defined by the client and his/her family.
