Katie's Story

Katie Colton

Katie has been working in the disability world since 2017 and currently works as an Employment Consultant in Best Buddies International's North Carolina office. In this position she supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in finding integrated employment and educates companies on best practices in creating diverse and inclusive workplaces. Beginning February 1, she will officially become the Manager of National Partnerships for Best Buddies International where she will manage and build national partnerships with employers who are devoted to maintaining an inclusive workplace and assisting as they hire participants from the Best Buddies Jobs Program to do so.
